i never thought

I never thought that I would see what I saw today. It’s not anything way to crazy, but it was something to write down. I was watching Kennedy Center Honors tonight because there was nothing else to do. I was folding laundry. It was a pretty good show. The last honoree of the night was Elton John. As part of his segment, they had Kid Rock come out and sing Saturday Night is Alright for Fighting. By the end of the song he had the entire room up on their feet. It was amazing. I just got to thinking of all of the important people who must have been in the audience. One of the one more interesting shots was one of Colin Powell getting down and followed by a shot of Jack Nickelson dancing the night away. It was fun. Kid Rock must have been thrilled.

As I type this my mom is yelling at my grandma about Christmas. I never thought that this is how Christms would end up. I really want to have to go through with with Christmas. Why should something like being with the ones you love be so difficult? Why should people get so upset? Why does my mom make this much worse than it needs to be? Why does she use me to justify what she wants? Sorry, this probably doesn’t make sense to you, but it’s what’s going on.

It will get better, it must get better.
